Come enjoy the beauty of Island Park at The Gathering Place Lodge. This 4000 sq. ft. home is in the centrally located Macks Inn area, close to golf, lakes, live theatre, restaurants, hiking, fishing and so much more. Within walking distance of Henry's Fork of the Snake River for river floats and fly fishing. Only 23 miles from West Yellowstone.
The lodge is beautifully decorated with themed bedrooms, leather furniture and down bedding. There are plenty of separate areas for children, such as the Nintendo room, the children's bunk room, and the outdoor playhouse. Or round everyone up in "The Gathering Room" for a piano sing-along or karaoke. Guitars provided as well!
The top level has 3 bedrooms, each with 2 queen beds, and 2 bathrooms. The Gathering Room is upstairs, with a big screen HDTV, satellite, game table, and piano.
The main level includes the kitchen and dining, the living room with gas fireplace and guitars, a bedroom with one queen bed, a bunk room with 3 twin/full bunks, and two bathrooms. The kitchen is well stocked with all your culinary needs, including a large pantry and two refrigerators.
The lower level has a bedroom with one queen and one futon, a bathroom, a billiards room, a children's Nintendo room, and The Quiet Room, with a library of books, an electric fireplace, and a futon. The laundry is also located downstairs.
Enjoy the secluded hot tub, billiards, flat screen HDTV, basketball court, fire pit and lawn area. The cabin is located right off a paved road (a rare find!) and sits on 1.5 quiet acres. Snowmobile or ATV right from the property to the 500 mile groomed trail system. A snowmobile trip from the property to Big Springs, over Two Top Pass and into West Yellowstone takes about 1.5 hours and is great fun. Cross-country ski trails nearby as well.
